Fire rated
Our CE marked hinges have been tested to meet BS EN 1935:2002, using an 8-digit coding system.
Each digit refers to a particular feature of the product measured against the standards performance requirements such as strength, robustness, durability and suitability for fire/smoke door applications.
Our CE marked hinges are also tested for fire resistance, to help restrict the initial development of the fire, to restrict the spread of the fire and to protect escape routes.
